In 'server.cfg' add the line: persistent=1 If an administrator wishes to keep the mission running whilst there are no players connected it requires several prerequisites When the dedicated server has at least one player connected AND a mission is loaded and being played it's status is set to 'playing' and the number of slots available is set by the mission.Īs soon as the last player leaves the server the mission will stop and the server status will once again resume to 'waiting'. The number of slots will show the total number of players as defined within the 'server.cfg' i.e. In the waiting state the server will not have a mission loaded and playing.
When the dedicated server is empty it's state is 'waiting'. Please note that the ArmA3 lite version is not supported.ĪrmA3 server does not function like most traditional game servers. You must have a valid steam account which has the ArmA3 game associated with it. The ArmA3 dedicated server is available via SteamCMD Windows. This tutorial uses SteamCMD for all ArmA3 Installation files. You do not need to install the Steam client on your server.
